13 TO LIFE,  by Shannon Delany, was the Grand Prize Winner of the 2009 Textnovel.com Writing Contest.  Ms.Delany developed a loyal and devoted group of fans over thecourse of approximately six months on Textnovel.com as she began, with their help and input, to develop and unfold the beginning chapters of her novel, available here. 13 TO LIFE is a story of teenage loyalty, love, and loss that examines one girl's internal struggles as she deals with the tragic loss of her mother as well as the startling news that her friend is destined to become a werewolf.  13 TO LIFE was sold to St. Martin's Press as part of a 3 book deal.  It is scheduled for release in June 2010.
